I’m Kari, a professional children’s magician from Helsinki, Finland. A note if you’ve found my older Finnish experiment. In 2020, when the pandemic closed every stage in Finland, I built a small home magic experience and sold it at a small price. That idea carried me through the whole pandemic: I never had to give up my work as a magician, not for a single season, while most performers had to. Some of its ideas survive in the American experience, but the two are not the same product: the U.S. version is a new, much larger production (new shows, new materials, safety-tested props, a physical package shipped from a U.S. warehouse, and a guarantee honored by a U.S. company). If you’re comparing prices between them, you’re comparing a prototype from another market and another time to the finished thing.
